Tijdens onze zomervakanties in Spanje, gaan we altijd een middagje naar Girona. Op een van de eerste bezoekjes ontdekten we daar een dierenwinkel en natuurlijk konden we het niet laten om even naar binnen te gaan. Wat ons direct opviel was dat anders dan de Nederlandse dierenwinkels, hier puppies en kittens worden verkocht. Als poezenliefhebbers raakten we onmiddellijk vertederd, maar wijselijk genoeg hebben we in die tijd geen impuls aankoop gedaan. We hadden immers thuis twee lieve poezen die op ons wachten.

Description: Located in Meckenheim near Bonn, Germany. This is the key-mate of our efforts breeding typefull Siamese and Oriental cats! Our aim is breeding excellent typed cats with a lovely character and of course a strong health.
Therefore we're breeding normally just one litter a year since 1982. Because we don't possess studs, we drive normally more than 300km to studs living in catterys in the Netherlands or Belgium to get a better type step by step. How our breeding developed over the years you can see, if you take a look at the photos. Then you can make yourself your own opinion!
We don't care of that sort of "selfpraising" you may find on some other sites. Therefore we didn't declare any titels and show-successes in our galleries.

Description: Our aim is to breed healthy Siamese and Orientals, this comes first place. Looks are of course important, they come a close second place, but never before health. We attempt to do this by Outcross, that is to say we combine totally unrelated lines from as far apart as America, Finland, Denmark, Germany and England. The ancestory of the lines we select must be race pure and tracable to Siam the land of origin, the present day Thailand. We breed the Siamese in a classical direction, in the classic type and colours: -seal point,blue point,chocolate point and lilac point. Our Oriental cats are a very different story,we breed a much more ‘modern’ and ‘slimmer’ type of cat, than we choose for the Siamese. Also the colours we breed this relatively young race, are present day colours: blue, cinnamin, black, chocolate, lilac and fawn. We plan to add to this selection Oriental tabby’s in the colours: cinnamin spotted and fawn spotted.

The following year I bought her a friend. The breeder insisted that I took her to some
shows, and there I was................
I had my first litter of Siamese in 1981. I did have litters occasionally, but did not have the time to be engaged in shows and breeding due to studies, work and a lot of travelling. In 1989 I lost my heart to a black Oriental. He was neutered. Some years later I wanted to start breeding again, and this time the breeding program contained both Siamese and Orientals.

When you look at this page, you may botice that the main focus has been put on the orintal shorthais, since that is what I mainly aim to breed. Since one of my females is a siamese though, and most orientals carry the siamesegen, I will often have siamese kittens in my litters as allways :-) With 5 grown-up orientals I found it was time to leave "the shadow of the siamese", and the new lay-out of the page is a result of that. I have not finished all the pages yet, but I hope to finish everything during this summer.
